Recently, Zhejiang Mobile’s CRM modules and BOSS core decoding modules have been completely migrated to TaiShan servers based on Huawei Kunpeng processors, enabling large-scale commercial use of Huawei Kunpeng processors in the operator industry. Zhejiang Mobile has become the first operator in China to complete the large-scale migration of core business systems and all services to the Kunpeng computing platform.
As early as May this year, Zhejiang Mobile adopted Huawei’s GaussDB database to carry some of the core front-end systems, and has withstood the test of database performance and stability during the August campus marketing season. In July, Zhejiang Mobile realized the world’s first commercial use of an operator’s IT system based on Huawei’s Kunpeng processor, and migrated the business hall system to TaiShan servers, proving that the Kunpeng processor has met Zhejiang Mobile’s commercial requirements in terms of computing performance and stability. The requirement also indicates that Zhejiang Mobile’s IT system has the ability to migrate to the Kunpeng computing platform.
After a lapse of three months, Zhejiang Mobile and Huawei, after joint research and development and strict verification tests, finally realized the migration of all CRM modules and BOSS core decoding modules to the Kunpeng computing platform, proving that the Kunpeng processor is widely used in large-scale commercial use in the operator industry. feasibility.
CRM and BOSS are the core business systems of operators, including order center, customer center, opening center, billing center and other series of middle-office capability centers and front-end systems such as business halls and cooperative channels, covering all channels for individuals, government and enterprises , the family market of various business acceptance, service provisioning, customer management and billing and other capabilities.

During this commercial process, Zhejiang Mobile successfully integrated the self-developed large and medium platform architecture with Huawei TaiShan server, and built a new Kunpeng container cloud plane. The dual-plane container cloud based on Kunpeng processor and general-purpose CPU carries all CRM centers and BOSS decoding. The modular service realizes the load balancing of business traffic between the two planes and fully guarantees business security.

The Kunpeng processor has four characteristics of high performance, high throughput, high integration, and high energy efficiency. It is a high-performance data center processor released by Huawei to the industry in January 2019. The Huawei TaiShan series servers launched this time are based on the Kunpeng processor. Through a series of micro-architecture designs such as optimizing the branch prediction algorithm, increasing the number of computing units, and improving the memory subsystem architecture, the processor performance is greatly improved. At the same time, through the built-in independent hardware engine The encryption algorithm realizes the security and reliability of the computing platform, and provides an efficient and reliable computing base for the operator’s IT system.
Zhejiang Mobile and Huawei have been investing heavily in promoting independent innovation of IT and CT systems and building an industrial ecosystem, striving to break through industrial bottlenecks. At present, the first large-scale commercial use of an operator’s IT system based on the Kunpeng computing platform has been completed in the world. In the future, the two parties will continue to promote joint innovation, and use a more efficient and secure platform in the exploration of 5G applications to escort the industrial Internet and build Safe digital world.
