The change is due to concerns about COVID-19 infections in Taiwan.
TAITRA – the Taiwan External Trade Development Council – are the organisers of the Taipei International Electronics Show, which encompasses these events. They say they have taken recent recommendations into consideration and made the decision to prioritise public health and welfare at this time.
There will still be a virtual element to the shows – TAITRONICS 2021 & AIoT Taiwan 2021 have been made possible by a digital transformation of the events, say TAITRA.
“This has been achieved by building up online services and strategies to promote business between exhibitors and buyers. The show will feature virtual booths, online meetings, and video conferencing. The exact dates for the virtual show are to be announced soon.”
