On November 9, 2021, Dalian General Holdings, a leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia-Pacific market, announced that its subsidiary Quanding launched a Bluetooth headset solution based on Qualcomm’s QCC5144 aptX Voice chip.

Today, consumers’ increasing demand for mobile calls, which makes people’s requirements for sound quality gradually increased, so the ultra-wideband voice codec came into being. By applying this technology to mobile devices, the quality of mobile calls can be significantly improved, allowing more consumers to enjoy high-quality voice calls on mobile terminals. However, consumers do not experience the same level of HD voice when using accessories that support the Bluetooth hands-free profile to make and receive voice calls. Based on the Qualcomm QCC5144 chip, the Bluetooth headset solution launched by Dalian Daquanding can effectively solve the above problems and provide consumers with excellent voice call effects.

QCC5144 is a high-end chip specially designed for Bluetooth audio devices. It uses Qualcomm aptX Voice audio technology to provide high-fidelity voice call quality for Bluetooth wireless connection technology. Compared to the narrowband and wideband codecs used in the current Bluetooth hands-free specification, aptX Voice can provide users with a better calling experience by improving the overall voice quality, thereby reducing listener fatigue, which is for those in noisy environments. It is very important for users who also need to maintain high-quality voice calls.

In addition, aptX Voice supports 32kHz sampled audio with a smooth 16kHz frequency response, making it easier to recognize speech, distinguish between confusing sounds, and understand the semantics of accented callers, improving user semantic understanding even in other Excellent speech understanding is also achieved in sound-impaired environments.
